In 2024, Chaiken worked with the Estate of Tom Verlaine in assembling and cataloging over five decades of the musician and songwriter’s lyric manuscripts, notebooks, demo and live recordings, beginning from his earliest days in the 1970s as a member of the Neon Boys and co-founder and leader of the band Television through to his solo work in the 1980s–2000s. In December 2025, the Tom Verlaine Archive was acquired by the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts.
